About Talia

My passion for engineering began with a fascination for how everyday objects and systems come together through logic and design. Over the last nine years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching engineering to students of various levels, helping them uncover both the creativity and structure of the field. Teaching has allowed me to combine my technical foundation with a genuine desire to support learners through their academic journeys. Seeing students grow from uncertainty to clarity and confidence is incredibly meaningful to me. My teaching approach is grounded in patience, structure, and adaptability. I break down concepts into manageable steps, ensuring that learners never feel overwhelmed. Some students benefit from visual explanations, others from real-life examples, and some from hands-on reasoning—so I adjust my methods to match their learning style. I value clarity, encouragement, and open communication, creating a space where learners feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas without hesitation. My goal is to help students build both competence and lasting confidence. Outside of teaching, I stay connected to engineering through ongoing study, real-world observations, and technical exploration. These experiences enrich the examples and insights I bring into lessons. Teaching engineering is not just a profession for me—it is an opportunity to guide students toward understanding how the world works and toward recognizing their own potential as creative problem-solvers.

Engineering becomes truly engaging when students begin to understand how principles transform into real-world structures, machines, and solutions. My lessons focus on creating a calm, supportive atmosphere that encourages curiosity while offering clear, digestible explanations. I make complex concepts feel approachable by connecting theory to real applications, allowing learners to see engineering as both logical and creative. Whether exploring basic mechanics or advanced systems, each lesson blends structure, relevance, and encouragement so students can learn confidently and enjoyably.

Beginners are introduced to foundational topics such as forces, motion, energy, stress, and basic system behavior. Intermediate students explore materials, equilibrium, fluid concepts, structural reasoning, and applied calculations. Advanced learners work on design principles, modeling, analytical thinking, exam preparation, and project-based understanding. I use diagrams, guided examples, case studies, and problem-solving methods to help students progress steadily. Lessons adapt to each learner’s pace, ensuring clarity, consistency, and long-term understanding.

Engineering lessons help students develop critical thinking, resilience, and creative problem-solving. Many learners discover new confidence as they learn to break down complex challenges and approach them step by step. My goal is to help students achieve strong technical foundations while strengthening their belief in their own abilities. Each session aims to empower learners with both knowledge and academic confidence.
