About Fanny
As I study Engineering at the University of Toronto, I have a strong foundation in Math and Science, areas I have always been passionate about. I am fully bilingual, so I can teach in either French or English. I was also placed on the Dean’s Honor List in my second semester.
My goal is for students to understand the fundamental concepts rather than memorize specific problem types. I aim to understand each student’s needs so I can adapt my teaching style and provide a more personalized learning experience based on their goals and way of learning.
I provide support in Math, Physics, Chemistry, and French for elementary, middle, and high school students following the Ontario curriculum, including help with coursework, test preparation, and exam review.

My tutoring approach is focused on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and making sure students actually understand the concepts instead of just memorizing them. I adapt depending on the student, whether that means slowing things down and simplifying or doing more practice together.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review, then we go through the topic with examples, and then the student does practice questions with my help when needed. I usually finish with a short recap and a few things to focus on after the lesson.
What sets me apart is that I’m an Engineering student at the University of Toronto and bilingual in English and French. I’m used to breaking down difficult ideas into simple steps and adjusting how I explain things depending on the student. I also keep a low-stress environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
My lessons are for elementary, middle, and high school students in Math, Physics, Chemistry, and French, following the Ontario curriculum.
