I am a dedicated and approachable tutor currently studying Mechatronics Engineering, with experience teaching students aged 10 to 18 in subjects such as mathematics, physics, and general science. My approach to tutoring is student-centred and tailored to suit each learner’s individual needs, ability, and learning style. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and confident enough to tackle challenging topics. I use a combination of clear explanations, real-life examples, visual aids, and interactive activities to help students understand and retain key concepts. Lessons typically begin with a quick recap or warm-up task to assess prior knowledge, followed by step-by-step teaching of new material, guided practice, and personalised feedback. I encourage independent thinking and problem-solving while offering the right level of support to build confidence and improve performance. My lessons are usually 60 minutes long, though shorter sessions of 30 to 45 minutes can be arranged for revision or targeted support. As someone studying an engineering discipline, I bring both academic understanding and practical insights to my teaching, making learning more relatable and effective. I teach students across Key Stage 2, 3, GCSE, and A-Level, whether they are looking to catch up, prepare for exams, or deepen their understanding of STEM subjects.
