I am two years into my engineering degree and have decided to achieve a minor in mathematics as well due to my passion for the subject. When I came to college I struggled heavily with math and started in the lowest math class possible and because of this I have a very deep understanding to the other side of learning hard subjects, such as math. Due to my humble mathematics beginning, I am always conscious and patient when teaching others these subjects, because I myself have struggled in these subject as well. Another strength I gained starting so low on the collegiate mathematics "food chain" is I have a deep understanding for the basic fundamentals that create high level mathematics such as calculus.
