About James
As a math tutor, my top priority is to create a positive and comfortable learning environment for my students. As a math tutor for high schoolers and freshmen in college, my teaching approach is based on assessing the student's knowledge level and tailoring my methods to their learning style. I provide personalized teaching techniques and encourage students to ask questions and give feedback. A typical lesson plan would involve reviewing previous topics, introducing new concepts and problems, practicing with the student, and summarizing the lesson. I also provide real-world examples to make the concepts more relatable.
