As someone who has always been passionate about teaching, I keep myself updated with new and innovative teaching methods. I make sure that my students are never bored and ensure a steady learning process. I believe that learning is a two-way process; there are some things I can teach the students, and there are some things I can learn from them. And This, I achieve by ensuring that my lessons are interactive and challenging.
I focus more on understanding and clear concepts rather than blind rot learning. I try to achieve this by working with the student on their problem areas and helping them overcome it by continuous and (if required) repeated explanations. I try to inculcate fun activities within the lessons to keep things interesting. Fun activities can help build attention and make it easier to grasp certain concepts.
Students learn better when someone explains things to them by going down to their level of understanding rather than expecting them to try and increase their understanding at an expert level. That is what I believe a good teacher should be able to do; understand a student's needs and accordingly, teach them. A generalized method of teaching will not work on every student. I try to implement as many specific methods as I can, as per the needs of the student.
