About Abhishek

I am a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur, an eminent institute of India. My academic background and preparation for IIT JEE has given me a robust understanding of Physics, Maths and Science. I had scored 95% in my Senior Secondary examination. My areas of expertise are GCSE level Science and Maths and A-level Physics as well as Physics for competitive examinations. I had been teaching students since 2020. Amid COVID lockdown, I got ample opportunity to teach online. This helped me to understand various nuances of online tutoring and thus ensuring the same conceptual clarity as given in offline tutoring. Teaching pupils is not only my job but my passion too. It is fun as well as fulfilment to see children advancing academically. So Physics learners here I am to guide you to achieve heights in understanding and grades.

About the lesson

SUBJECT SPECIALISATION: Physics and science (IGCSE, GCSE) || Physics for A-level TEACHING METHODOLOGY: 1. Personalised Learning: I use a tailored approach based on the syllabus and after assessing the weaknesses and strengths of the child. This helps me to deliver the most out of each session and ensure effective learning for the pupil. Focus is to make him/her stand out from the crowd. 2. Interactive and engaging: Creating a flexible and comfortable environment for the students to learn and ask questions as much as required for understanding the concepts thoroughly. I use various analogies and illustrations for deeper understanding. My endeavour is to make study an enjoyable game that reduces the stigma of study as hard work. 3. Focus on conceptual understanding: My teaching is not based on rote learning but on understanding the concepts from basic level to higher level. This boosts the confidence of the students and reduces the exam pressure as well as helps them to score good grades even if the exam gets tougher. 4. Practice-oriented: To ensure the application of concepts studied and making the student self-reliant. My focus is to keep the level of question toughness a bit higher so that he can ace exams easily even if the paper gets tough. 5. Personal Counselling: Based on my vast experience of myself preparing for one of the toughest Exams (IIT JEE|| UPSC CSE) in India and acing it, I will be available to counsel in any mental stress, studying techniques for better outcomes or even any personal issue that helps you to boost your academic performance. OUTLINE OF A TYPICAL LESSON 1. Warm-Up (10 minutes): Quick review of the previous lesson and addressing any questions or difficulties you may have encountered. 2. Introduction (5 minutes): Brief overview of the day’s topic and its importance in the broader context of the subject. 3. Core Lesson and questionnaire practice (40 minutes): Detailed explanation of the topic using animated slides, examples, and interactive whiteboard activities. I encourage questions and discussions to ensure clarity. Problem solving parallelly for application of the concepts learned. 4. Q&A and Recap (5 minutes): Answering any remaining questions, summarising the key points of the lesson, and setting the stage for the next class. Important Information: Flexibility: I understand that life can be unpredictable. That’s why I offer flexible scheduling and don’t charge for cancellations as long as you notify me in advance. Communication: Open communication is key. I am always available to answer your questions outside of class hours through email or messaging. Supportive Environment: My teaching style is kind and patient. I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and expressing concerns.
