About Ayan
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, one of Pakistan's leading engineering institutions, where I completed rigorous coursework in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Mechanics, Structural Analysis, and Numerical Methods. My own academic record includes a 90% average throughout grade 9-12 on the FBISE board, giving me firsthand, board-specific insight into how these exams are structured and graded.
I take tutoring seriously as a long-term commitment, not a casual side activity. My approach centers on understanding over memorization. Rather than just running through formulas, I break concepts down visually, explain the logic behind each one, and connect them to how they're actually tested, since I spent significant time studying exam patterns and past papers to understand what students are really being asked to do. Lessons typically run 60 minutes, with a mix of concept explanation, worked examples, and practice questions tailored to what the student is struggling with.
I'm a Civil Engineering graduate with a strong foundation in Math and Physics, both from my own academic record (90% throughout grade 9-12 on FBISE) and from heavy coursework in mechanics, calculus, and numerical methods during my degree. I've spent years informally tutoring friends and juniors, making detailed notes and walking them through concepts until things clicked.
My lessons are best suited for students from grade 8 through O/A Levels, SSC, HSSC, and FBISE board, especially those looking for help in Physics and Math. I teach in both English and Urdu, depending on what works best for the student.
