About Marium

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with extensive experience in secondary education. Currently serving as Head of Department, I have been teaching and leading with a strong focus on both GCSE and A Level. Since 2019, I have also worked as an examiner for multiple exam boards, giving me valuable insight into the assessment process and helping students succeed in their exams. I am passionate about education, particularly within the STEAM fields, and continuously seek out new learning opportunities to stay current and inspired in my teaching practice.

About the lesson

I offer tailored, student-focused tutoring in GCSE and A Level Physics, designed to build strong conceptual understanding and exam technique. My teaching style is adaptable, using clear explanations, visual aids, and real-world examples to make complex topics accessible. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and include a mix of teaching, guided practice, and past paper questions. I have a degree in Engineering, PGCE and 15 years of tutoring and teaching experience, with a solid understanding of major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). My sessions are ideal for students of all abilities, looking to improve their confidence and performance in physics.
