My Approach to Tutoring My teaching philosophy is to make learning enjoyable and meaningful by connecting concepts to real-life problems. I believe that students understand and retain knowledge best when they can see how it applies to the world around them. In my sessions, I use examples from everyday life, practical applications, and interactive discussions to help students not only prepare for exams but also develop genuine curiosity about the subject. Techniques and Methodology I adapt my teaching style to the student’s needs, whether that means breaking down complex ideas into simpler steps, using visual aids, or giving practice problems that gradually build confidence. I encourage students to ask questions freely and see mistakes as part of the learning process. My goal is to create an engaging, supportive environment where they feel motivated to learn. Lesson Length A typical lesson is 1 hour, although I can adjust this depending on the student’s requirements and concentration levels. Qualifications and Experience I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Machine Learning at Imperial College London, where I am building strong expertise in mathematics, computing, and problem-solving. Alongside my studies, I have experience working with younger students, supporting them in understanding difficult concepts and preparing effectively for exams. Who My Lessons Are For I teach students preparing for GCSEs and A-levels, typically aged 14–18. My main focus is on making sure they gain confidence in the subject, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and perform well in their exams while also developing an appreciation for the subject.
