About Melanie
I am a mom, a grandmother, a teacher, a leader, a community-involved mentor...I started working in the architectural industry at 18 and was recruited to come and teach CTE-based classes in 2014. For architecture we will work on the design process, understanding materials in construction, AutoCAD, and Revit. A Revit lesson will be focused on creating a real-world project based on client provided criteria and constraints.
For 3D printing, students will focus on Inventor or Fusion-360 as they are readily available to students with a school email address. I have created a variety of projects including Lego mini-figs that are 3x the scale. I then have created lessons on how to slice the project and print on various printer types
