Real-world connections — relate probability to AI, statistics to data, geometry to graphics/games, functions to programming, etc.
Why, not just what — instead of saying "use this formula," explain where the formula comes from and why it works.
Interactive classes — ask students to predict the answer or method before revealing the solution.
