About Jorge
Math should be fun and not something you are afraid of. Math is one of the most important subjects you will ever learn as it is applicable in your personal life in every stage in your life, whether it is to make a budget to spend only what you need, establish a plan to save money, buy a car or a home, or manage investments.
I did math tutoring for years while I was in high school and university and would like to start tutoring again now that I have the time to do it. I always enjoy seeing how students go from struggling to excelling in math and see how they get additional confidence in their lives.

The key for me to learn math was to find the practical side to it, so it is not abstract.
I use analogies and examples for every level of math required, so the student can fully understand the concept and start building the foundation for the next level.
Math is like a ladder where you need to complete one step before you climb the next one.
Every class covers an explanation of the concept followed by exercises to perform together and homework for the student to do. The homework will be reviewed during the next class to answer any questions or resolve any difficulties the student would have had while doing it.
