About Daniel
I am a patient individual, opting for the use of a soft tone and reassurance through learning new concepts and building on past learning. I have a keen interest in mathematics with a particular proficiency for mental arithmetic. This is something I display often and instil in my students. I am dedicated, tenacious and I thrive when solving problems. I look forward to passing on some of my passion through the lessons I teach.

A lesson can be as long or short as the student requires, as can the frequency. I am happy to discuss this in an initial consultation. However, typically a session will last one hour to enable a recap of previous learning and new subject matter to be covered.
I have over two years of experience delivering structured sessions to adults and teenagers in a range of subjects, including Functional Skills Mathematics Level 2. This has given me the ability to tailor my sessions to the needs of the student, rather than a blanket approach. I am aware of many learning methods, further cemented by my current study of BSc Mathematics and Its Learning, which outlines different approaches to the same problem. This enables me to adapt to the learning style of the individual and deliver greater results.

A 30 minute consultation is included free for any new prospective students. This is to establish the needs of the student and what I can offer for them. From there, the rate is cheaper for block booking or online lessons. I am happy to discuss rates more in the initial discussion
