About Sean
Having graduated in the top 5% in the year with a first-class MSc from the University of Warwick, I am eager for my understanding of mathematics and physics, along with my five years of experience that includes supervising undergraduates (as a teaching assistant), lecturing, private tutoring and tutoring in groups for Oxford and Cambridge entrance exams, to help you achieve your academic goals.
I have had experience tutoring four different students for one or two hours a week each, ranging from GCSE through 'A' level to first-year university maths and physics; I have experience in preparing for the Oxford entrance exam MAT.I provide my students with a study plan and use google forms to keep track of progress on homework. He quickly improved: obtaining 90 per cent on his homeworks. Pleased with the progress he was making, his parents had me tutor him for two hours every Saturday.

The most effective method of learning is through active, interactive lessons. The way I achieve this is by quizzing and asking questions about the material to the student to make sure they are understanding it, and also give them problems to talk through in the lesson. I ask that students come to me with problems they are struggling with and we both carefully probe what concepts need work.
Once we have determined the concept that the student needs to get more confident in, I give easier problems and eventually build up to the original problem.
