About Jannah Marie
Hi! I’m Jannah Marie, an enthusiastic English Education student and a 120-hour TEFL-certified tutor who enjoys helping students improve their English in a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
I have experience tutoring elementary students and teaching children through private tutoring and Sunday School instruction. These experiences have helped me develop patience, creativity, and effective ways to keep students engaged during lessons.
I believe that every student can learn English with the right guidance and encouragement. My lessons are designed to be simple, interactive, and suitable for each student’s level and learning needs. I focus on improving communication, vocabulary, reading, writing, grammar, and confidence in using English.
As your tutor, I will do my best to make every lesson enjoyable, encouraging, and meaningful. I look forward to helping you reach your English-learning goals and become more confident in communicating in English!

My teaching approach is fun, supportive, and focused on helping students feel confident using English. I believe that learning a language should not feel stressful, so I create a friendly environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. I use conversations, pictures, examples, games, reading activities, and simple exercises to make lessons interesting and easy to understand.
For a typical lesson, I start with a short warm-up or conversation to help the student feel comfortable. Then, I introduce the main topic and explain the lesson using simple examples. After that, we practice together through speaking, reading, vocabulary, grammar, or writing activities. I encourage students to participate and use English as much as possible. Before ending the lesson, we review what they learned, and I give helpful feedback and suggestions for improvement.
What makes me different as a tutor is my patience, positive attitude, and genuine interest in helping students improve. I am currently studying English education and have a 120-hour TEFL certification. I also have experience tutoring elementary students and teaching children, which has helped me understand how to make lessons engaging and appropriate for young learners.
My lessons are suitable for elementary and high school students, as well as young learners who want to improve their English communication, reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic grammar. I can also help students with homework and provide additional practice based on their individual needs. My goal is to help every student enjoy learning English while becoming more confident and comfortable using the language.
