About Charlotte
I am a friendly and confident person with a passion for learning and science. I have at times struggled with certain parts of schoolwork and found ways to overcome that, so I empathise with others who may not 'get it' when a teacher explains a topic and like to take on the challenge of finding new ways to explain difficult subjects. Since leaving sixth form, I have spent a year travelling and now I study Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bath. With all 9s in 11 GCSEs and A*A*AA at A-Level; I can get you the grade you need.

With a relaxed but thorough approach to teaching, I ensure that my students feel comfortable to express where they struggle the most to adapt my teaching to their needs. I return to the foundations of their knowledge to eradicate any gaps from school teaching, before targeting details that will elevate them to their desired grades. I offer recent exam experience and focus on exam technique with my students, so they feel confident to tackle the exam rather than just to list off facts. Typical lessons are 1-2 hours in length, once or twice a week. This can be flexible. I have 11 grade 9 GCSEs, and 4 A-Levels grades A*A*AA (Including Biology, Chemistry, Maths and English). I have been tutoring privately for 2 years. In this time, one of my tutees achieved their school chemistry prize. These lessons are for students under the age of 16 and/or preparing for their GCSEs.
