About Safwa

I am a dedicated and supportive Psychology graduate with a BSc in Psychology and a completed MSc in Clinical Psychology. My academic background and excellent knowledge of various psychology subjects/concepts allows me to explain psychological concepts clearly and confidently, while helping students feel motivated and secure in their learning. I aim to approach every student with patience, professionalism, and a genuine desire to see them succeed. I will take the time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals so I can tailor my teaching to exactly what they need—whether it’s mastering theories, preparing for exams, improving assignments, or developing strong academic habits. As your tutor, I will engage in pre-lesson preparation tailored to what needs to be delivered during the session to ensure you leave our session feeling confident in your knowledge. Students can trust that my lessons would be well-structured, evidence-based, and aligned with their curriculum. I maintain a friendly, non-judgmental environment where questions are always welcome and progress is celebrated. My goal is not only to improve academic performance, but also to build confidence, curiosity, and a strong understanding of psychology. About the lesson

My teaching style would be grounded in clarity, structure, and real understanding. I break down complex psychology concepts into simple, relatable explanations and use examples, diagrams, and real-life applications to help students fully grasp the material. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style—whether they prefer visual, verbal, or practical approaches—and always check understanding through guided questions, short summaries, and active discussion. My goal is to help students build confidence, not just memorize content. Techniques & Methodology: Simplifying complex psychological theories into easy, step-by-step explanations Using real-world examples and research findings to make topics meaningful Providing structured notes, mind maps, and exam-focused summaries Teaching effective study strategies, exam techniques, and how to write strong academic answers Adapting the pace and depth of lessons depending on each student’s needs and goals Typical length of a session: Depending on the needs of the student 60-90 minutes with longer sessions for exam preparations.
