About Thalia
To be honest, I want to offer this service because I've been there. I’ve been the student staring at a blank screen at 2:00 AM, completely stuck, overwhelmed by dense science coursework, and running out of time. Back then, I desperately wished I had someone to jump on a call with me—not to lecture me, but just to act as a focused body double, keep me accountable, and help me map out my thoughts. Now that I have successfully made it out the other side with two science degrees and three majors, I want to be that anchoring presence for other students. I don’t run dry, exhausting lectures. Instead, I specialize in "Emergency Essay Triage" using an effective accountability technique called body doubling.
We hop on a video call, unpack your stressful assignment prompt, and turn it into a logical structure. I stay on screen as a calm, anchoring presence to break your writer's block, fact-check concepts in real-time, and keep your focus locked on the page so you can finally cross the finish line.
Typical Length of a Lesson
Sessions are entirely deadline-driven and flexible, typically running between 1 to 3 hours depending on how close you are to your cutoff and how much of the paper needs to be un-stuck.
Qualifications & Experience as a TutorI hold a Bachelor of Health and Medical Science (Major in Health Science) and a Bachelor of Science (Double Major in Genetics and Immunology/Microbiology). I have survived intense university workloads, and I know exactly what markers look for in dense pathology, genetic mechanism, and infectious disease papers.
While my background is heavily rooted in advanced university sciences (perfect for Nursing, Biomed, and Pre-Med) and senior high school Biology, I am highly adaptable. If you are a student in any other discipline who is completely overwhelmed, staring at a blank page, and running out of time, I can adapt to your needs and act as your productivity anchor.
