About Shekku

In August 2013, I proudly graduated with a Master of Computer Science from Anna University, Chennai. My journey began earlier with a Bachelor of Computer Application degree in 2010. With a wealth of experience, I've cultivated over 5 years of teaching expertise and spent 6 years immersed in the world of programming. My passion lies in teaching programming from the ground up, catering to beginners and guiding them to advanced levels of proficiency. My teaching portfolio extends beyond programming; I've also tutored data science foundations, Python, and SQL, along with essential Python data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and more. Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
The first time I used a computer was at my high school in 2000 when I was fourteen years old. Back then, I found it really interesting. I remembered that I learned how to use email, text editor, spreadsheet, and slides. Then I learned a programming language called C++ , problem solving made computers more interesting. That was a turning point in my life, So I decided to choose programming as my career.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I decided to pursue coding and completed my Masters in Computer Application. Basically to teach anyone is to enlighten them with the knowledge which you possess and aiding them to achieve their goals as the classes are designed to suit every individual's needs.
How does your work help society?
Teachers truly are the backbone of society. They are role models to education, offer guidance and dedication and give young people the power of education.Teachers have those leadership and role model qualities that help to learn, grow and model the values & traits that teachers possess.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
Anyone who can teach me something new and useful, I'm inspired by them. I don't really have a specific role model. I just believe that we have one life to live, so why not live it by knowing as much as possible through knowledge.

Apart from teaching and reading, I really enjoy cooking.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I believe every student is special. But surely, would like to tell everyone to love your life and live in your present. Because that is all that matters.
