About Owen
For the past 15+ years, I have been teaching Trumpet to High School students, College students, and adults. During this period, I have successfully worked with around 300 students, helping them strengthen their knowledge and confidence through organized lessons and consistent encouragement.
My teaching philosophy is built on patience, communication, and continuous improvement. Every learner has different strengths, so I personalize every lesson according to individual goals and learning styles. I explain topics in simple English, making learning easy, engaging, and effective.
My classes include demonstrations, guided learning, independent practice, progress evaluations, and regular feedback. I encourage students to practice consistently and celebrate every improvement because confidence grows through positive experiences.
Helping around 300 students achieve meaningful progress has been one of my proudest accomplishments. Their success motivates me to continue improving my teaching methods and supporting learners with dedication and enthusiasm.
I strive to create a respectful and encouraging classroom where students feel confident learning at their own pace. My mission is to help every learner enjoy Trumpet while reaching their highest potential.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students become confident trumpet players through enjoyable and well-planned lessons. Every student has unique strengths and learning styles, so I prepare personalized lessons that support steady improvement and long-term success.
Motivation is at the center of my teaching philosophy. I inspire students to stay positive, practice regularly, and appreciate every achievement. Confidence grows through consistent effort and encouragement.
Communication helps students understand techniques clearly. I explain every topic using simple English, demonstrate every exercise carefully, and encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson.
Integrity is an important value in my classroom. I treat every student with patience and respect while providing honest guidance and supportive feedback.
Creativity makes learning exciting. Lessons include breathing exercises, rhythm activities, articulation practice, improvisation, musical expression, and performance training to develop complete musicians.
Besides trumpet, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm reading, music appreciation, ensemble playing, and stage performance skills. My goal is to help students enjoy music while becoming confident performers.
