About Oliver
I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Physics (Astrophysics concentration) at the University of Miami and have 5 years of tutoring experience in Miami. I also work as a graduate research assistant, analyzing telescope data for exoplanet discovery. I hold a Florida Physics Teaching Certificate and offer weekday and weekend availability. Outside tutoring, I mentor local astronomy clubs and coordinate stargazing events at a community observatory.

I offer elite Physics and Astrophysics coaching—covering classical mechanics, Thermodynamics (entropy, heat engine cycles), and foundational Astrophysics concepts (stellar classification, exoplanet detection techniques). We use interactive simulations (PhET, Universe Sandbox) and Python for quantitative physics exercises (data fitting, simulation of orbits). Each lesson includes practice problem sets modeled on AP, IB, and undergraduate exam formats, followed by thorough conceptual reviews and group discussion segments.
