About Sylvia

I am a French tutor with more than 20 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 2180 students. My passion is helping learners become fluent French speakers while developing communication skills that support education, careers, travel opportunities, and personal growth.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students, professionals, travelers, university learners, and examination candidates from diverse backgrounds. This experience enables me to create highly personalized lessons that support different goals and proficiency levels.

Many students have improved pronunciation, achieved examination success, strengthened workplace communication, increased conversational confidence, enhanced academic performance, and developed long-term fluency through my guidance and mentorship.

These activities strengthen fluency while improving confidence, communication effectiveness, and language accuracy.

Advanced learners focus on business French, workplace communication, academic language development, presentation techniques, advanced grammar structures, international communication, conversational fluency, and professional writing skills. Students learn how to communicate naturally and professionally across educational, professional, and social environments.

Authentic French resources including podcasts, interviews, articles, documentaries, dialogues, literature extracts, case studies, and cultural materials are incorporated into lessons to strengthen comprehension and expose learners to natural language usage. Continuous assessments, structured evaluations, and personalized feedback ensure measurable progress and long-term language success.
