About Macy
With over 15 years of dance experience and 10 years competing at a high level, I bring a deep passion, discipline, and understanding of the art of dance. I’ve trained in multiple styles across two dedicated studios, where I not only developed strong technical skills but also a love for performance and teamwork. My background includes extensive work in contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical, along with years on a competitive drill team, where precision, endurance, and synchronization were key. Dance has taught me commitment, creativity, and the value of hard work—qualities I now bring into my teaching. Whether you're just beginning or looking to refine your technique, I strive to create a space where dancers of all levels feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow

The session begins with a full-body warm-up to awaken the muscles, improve mobility, and establish a mind-body connection through breath and flow. Students will engage in both floor work and standing technique exercises, emphasizing core engagement, alignment, and safe transitions.
The class progresses into traveling combinations across the floor to build confidence in spatial awareness and movement dynamics. A choreographed phrase will then be introduced, encouraging students to explore musicality, fluidity, and emotional expression within structured movement. The session concludes with a gentle cool-down and group reflection to foster body awareness and a sense of community.
