About Courtney

I have been a teacher for 10 years. In those 10 years, I taught grades K-8. My passion is teaching math. I am always professional and believe in fostering relationships where students feel comfortable learning with me. I have tutored regularly in 3-5 grade math and enjoy tutoring in reading as well.

About the lesson

I get students to learn by various methods. One of my favorite things to do as a teacher is to get you to understand the why behind what you are learning. I also stay away from hints and tricks when it comes to learning math. I help you understand number sense which will benefit you in the long run.
