About Alexis
A large part of why I went into teaching is to help inspire students and provide a safe learning environment. I see more than just a student, I see a person with potential, with unique skills and ideas, and an individual learning style and needs. I enjoy helping students connect the dots, find meaning in their learning, and the motivation to grow. Encouraging students to dig deeper and overcome hurdles is incredibly fulfilling!

I enjoy connecting with people, learning alongside them while helping them find their own passion for learning. I believe in creating a fun, exciting learning environment that feels relaxed and stress-free. I’ve been teaching for eight years and taught online during the initial COVID pandemic shut down. As a Montessori educator, I believe following a student’s interests leads to better connection with subject matter and the opportunity to connect challenging subjects with practical life skills!
