Hi! I’m Lauryn, an elementary educator with 10 years of experience working with children. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident, supported, and excited to learn. My tutoring approach is patient, engaging, and personalized to each student’s learning style. I use hands-on activities, guided practice, questioning, repetition, and real-world examples to make concepts easier to understand and remember.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review or warm-up, followed by direct instruction and modeling. We then practice together before the student completes independent work. I end each lesson by reviewing what we learned, celebrating progress, and identifying what we should focus on next.
What sets me apart is my experience as an elementary educator and my 10 years of working with children. I understand how to identify learning gaps, adjust instruction, and build confidence while keeping students motivated and engaged.
My lessons are designed primarily for kindergarten through elementary school students who need support with reading, phonics, writing, math, homework, foundational skills, or additional academic practice. I also welcome students who are performing well but would benefit from enrichment and an extra challenge.
