About Amanda
I am a mother, wife, sister, teacher, and friend. My motto is “love first, teach second!” My goals are for students to turn their can’t in to cans. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have a 17 year old daughter. She is a freshman in college. I want to tutor students to help them build confidence that will carry over to the classroom.

Tutoring lessons could be focusing on specific standards or working on a specific classroom assignment, homework, or extra practice. Students may need to see a variety of strategies to decide which works best for them. As a tutor, I would want to see some of the students work to know where to start and possibly decide where the greatest need is for the student.
