About Sophie
I am an elementary education major at Indiana University. I am very passionate about teaching and have had many experiences working in a classroom and tutoring. My senior year of high school I was a teachers aid for a second grade class where I lead small reading groups and since being in college I have had the opportunity to be a tutor for my fellow students for the "Teach and Learn Elementary Math" course.

When I am working with students I want to be able to make the content fun and engaging for them. I am a firm believer in the growth mindset approach to learning whihc teaches students that mistakes are okay as long as you learn from them.
