About Mele
Learning is a lifelong passion of mine and I am thrilled to pass on the skill of reading to young learners! I have a background working with a variety of age groups and abilities from pre-k to to middle school. My expertise is disability and neurodiversity informed- I am no stranger to Special Education! I value creating positive experiences with reading and making lessons digestible at any level through intersecting many subjects like STEM, STEAM, and real-life applications.

From our first session, we will begin assessing the students current strengths and abilities, followed by a co-created lesson plan that is paced just right and taught in clear and understandable methods. I intentionally build my catalog of learning materials to be fun, engaging, and easy to follow so that any barriers presented to a particularly challenging subject are easily triumphed! I take special consideration in the students needs and interterests so that learning is accessible as much as fun!
