About Brittany
Growing up in Texas, I've always had a passion for working with children, infusing fun and excitement into every activity. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my dog. I believe in creating an engaging and joyful learning environment where students can thrive.
With over 10 years in education I am passionate about assisting children with their work, ensuring they find joy in the learning process rather than struggle. By understanding each student’s interests, I tailor their educational experience to make it engaging and enjoyable. I can teach all core subject areas up to 5th grade.

My approach to learning is personal. I am to connect with my students and learn about them so that we can tackle the hard things (reading) in an enjoyable and exciting way. It is proven that when we are relaxed and in a positive frame of mind, our brains are better at accepting and learning new things.
My lessons are designed to be engaging for elementary aged learners. We will learn through short activities and games designed to be pieced together to help in the over all goal of learning to read (K-2nd) or reading to learn (3rd-5th)
