About Nour

Hi there! I am Nour, a Physics/Astrophysics Graduate, Electronics Engineer, and a Maths, physics, and Engineering foundation year Lecturer at the University of Glasgow

Currently an electronics engineer. MSc in Astrophysics at the University of Glasgow, merit class. BSc honours in Physics with Astrophysics with a first class honours.

Throughout my academic career, I was never fully satisfied with how the majority of my teachers or lecturers taught us. I realised that they all had three common mistakes, a poor introduction to the topic/lesson, over-complicating straightforward topics, and not providing context/meaning to the topics involved.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology mainly focuses on delivering topics in the easiest and most straightforward way, all accompanied by a sensible introduction and a meaningful context. I suggest students to send me their topics of interest or their topics' material in advance of sessions. I teach Maths and Physics at the following levels: - National 5 - Scottish Highers and Advanced Highers - IGCSE - A-levels - Undergraduate Physics and Maths modules/courses. - Postgraduate Physics and Maths modules/courses. A typical length of a session is 1 hour and could be extended upon request. My experience as a tutor is that I have started my own tutoring company in 2019 in Alexandria, Egypt. The company's staff and I used to tutor Engineering and Science students by applying the aforementioned teaching techniques. I also work as a mathematics tutor for Gostudent company. I had students from all levels of education with different exam boards and have taught more than 85 sessions since late 2022.

Perfect! I enjoy how he explains the concepts as well as does practice problems. I have had a fast paced undergraduate physics course and Nour was good at adapting to my needs of topics that are broad in a short amount of time. Very efficient and helpful
