About Mustafa

I am an Electrical Engineering undergraduate with an academic background in FSc Pre-Medical and a strong interest in **Physics, Mathematics, and the sciences**. My academic journey has given me exposure to both biological sciences and the mathematical and physical foundations of engineering, allowing me to approach scientific problems from different perspectives.

I have a particular interest in understanding the **fundamental principles behind physical phenomena and mathematical relationships**. I believe that science is best learned by understanding the reasoning behind a concept rather than memorising isolated formulas or procedures.

My approach to teaching is analytical and concept-oriented. I break complex topics down into their fundamental principles, establish the necessary mathematical foundation, and then connect those concepts to equations, physical interpretations, and practical problem-solving.

A major focus of my lessons is **polishing students' problem-solving abilities**. Rather than simply demonstrating how to solve a particular question, I encourage students to analyse the problem, identify the relevant concepts, develop a logical approach, and work towards the solution independently. This helps them become more confident when faced with unfamiliar or challenging questions.

As an engineering student, I continuously apply mathematics and physics to analytical problems, which has strengthened my own systematic approach to problem-solving. I aim to pass this way of thinking on to my students.

Whether the goal is strengthening fundamentals, preparing for examinations, or developing deeper scientific understanding, my focus is on helping students **understand, analyse, and solve problems independently** rather than relying solely on memorisation.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is concept-based and student-focused. I believe that Maths and Physics become much easier when you understand *why* something works instead of simply memorizing formulas.

In my lessons, I first make sure the basic concept is clear, then gradually move towards examples and problem-solving. I encourage students to ask questions and I explain difficult topics step-by-step, using simple language and practical examples whenever possible.

For Physics, I focus on understanding the physical meaning behind formulas, diagrams, laws, and equations before applying them to numerical problems.

For Maths, I focus on building a strong foundation, understanding the logic behind each method, and then practicing different types of questions so that students can solve problems independently.

My goal is not just to help students complete their syllabus, but to help them **develop the understanding and confidence needed to solve questions on their own.*
