About Randy
I am an electrical engineering technologist from CPUT. Although I was not officially registered as a tutor, I have been assisting students for the past 5 years. I worked as a Resident Student Assistant for 2 years in one of the CPUT residences, a role which allowed me to easily come in contact with residence students and assist those who were struggling academically.

Universities focus on following the academic calendar which in many cases is the reason for lecturers to deliver a large amount of information in a limited time. Most people understand after a discussion, which is an opportunity they do not get during class time. Therefore, base my classes and lessons on a discussions which create a better learning environment, it allows students to bring their contributions hence allowing me to look at topics in the way they see them so that I can provide effective teaching.
