About Abigail
I started tutoring when I was still in elementary school. Since then, I have led workshops on 3D modeling, logo design, screen printing, painting, and writing. I have also had the privilege of tutoring math and electrical engineering concepts to K-12 and undergraduate students. My personal favorite subject to teach is Calculus!

A typical lesson is set up into three parts: 1) The basics - What kinds of problems are we trying to solve? What is convention for these? How does one go about solving them? 2) Activities/Practice - The student will receive a few problems to complete. They will be able to ask for help with them but should develop comfort in doing them alone. 3) Reconnecting Everything - Based on the information taught and the experience of the problem solving, can the student make connections as to why certain conventions exist or why rules are used? How comfortable are they with the method used to solve the practice problems? What holes (if any) need to be filled? The answers to these questions will inform the subject matter for the next session. If everything seemed clear, the next session will only include a brief review of the immediate session.
