My journey as a guitar instructor spans eight years, during which I've had the pleasure of mentoring over 300 students with diverse musical backgrounds and ambitions. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a holistic understanding of the guitar, encompassing both technical proficiency and musical artistry. I believe in building a strong technical foundation, covering aspects such as proper hand positioning, efficient picking techniques, and fretboard navigation. Alongside this, I emphasize the importance of developing a musical ear, incorporating exercises that train students to recognize intervals, chords, and melodies.
For those interested in music composition, I offer guidance on arranging, orchestration (within the guitar's capabilities), and understanding musical forms. My aim is to empower students not only to play the guitar skillfully but also to understand the language of music and express themselves creatively through their instrument.
