About Bridget
Hi! My name is Bridget and I absolutely love teaching! I have 6 years of teaching experience in middle school classrooms where I was rated "Highly Effective" on evaluations from my supervisors and was nominated numerous times for the Nevada Heart of Education Award by students, parents, and administrators. I have also tutored privately and through tutoring companies for many years, dating all the way back to college in 2006.

Hi! My name is Bridget and I have been a reading, writing, and general English teacher in middle school classrooms for many years. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education (K-8) with a focus on ELA and TESOL. In addition to teaching English, I have created and taught elective explorations courses including Art History, Film Studies, Media, and Journalism. I am an active member of the school community and am currently working on numerous committees, working with after-school tutoring programs, and teacher mentorship programs. Over the years, my students have shown high growth and high achievement leading to outstanding scores on standardized tests. I love helping my students with grammar and essay writing and have tutored privately and through tutoring companies such as Kumon.
