In my time teaching, I have focused on creating engaging, creative lesson plans that are student-centered. I believe hands-on learning and self-discovery are the most effective ways of teaching. Not only is it more exciting for the students to be the center of the classroom, but it also empowers the students to be life-long learners and seek a deeper understanding of their world. I have also concentrated on the integration of technology into the classroom. I have experience with coding, programming Ozobots, creating online lessons in Seesaw, Flipgrid, and Socrative, to name a few, and using Google applications for lessons, assessments, and projects. I see technology as a valuable tool and resource that will be increasingly useful in the future. I am excited to be a part of this technological revolution that is shaping the way we teach.
