About Alice
Hi! I am an education student and I was a preschool teacher for two years to gain experience in my field of study. While I am not a teacher at this time, I still have my materials from when I was still teaching and help my friends and family who have children who need a bit of extra help learning to read.

By reading aloud and asking questions during stories and books, it will help develop vocabulary and help to comprehend what is being read. As a preschool teacher during quarantine, I was able to teach my students to use sight words and learn the alphabet virtually. A typical lesson plan would include a book or a story, followed by talking about what we read, then it would be followed up by an activity that corresponds to the literature. These lessons would typically be for preschool age children, or someone who is learning how to read.
