About Anthony
I am currently in my third year studying towards a Bachelor in Education (Intermediate and Senior Phase (Grades 4 to 9)). I have experience in general psychology and have been interning throughout my studies at a primary school in Pretoria. I have been tutoring learners after my interning hours since 2017. All the learners I tutor have immensely improved their English marks at school. I look forward to helping you reach your full potential.

My teaching philosophy is based on what Ignacio Estrada said, “If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.” This is one of the quotes that inspire my teaching philosophy to allow every learner to have an opportunity at a quality education. I want to give every learner the attention they need, the exact way they need it. I want to explore different teaching and learning methods to keep learning exciting and interesting, to move away from the traditional textbook and rote learning methods. I want my lessons to provide experiences that are real, engaging, hands-on, and meaningful. My experience taught me that this is how learners learn best.

Details
The rate remains the same throughout the level as it is time and preparation that determines the rate of my lessons. The content is based on the students' needs (where a student needs assistance and where a student can improve). The rate of travel depends on the distance and starts at R100. Online tutoring available via FaceTime, WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Team. Tutoring is also possible at my residence.
