About Rupinder
I have more than 6 years of experience in tutoring English, Mathematics and Psychology to secondary and high school students, both in Canada and India. My experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Thompson Rivers University given me chance to work with students from Russia, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and India one-on-one and helped them in solving their course related queries. I also gained an experience of preparing teaching material and grading student's assignments, while assisting an University Professor I have 3 years of experience in research in Psychology and Education both in India and Canada. Moreover, while working as a Student Mentor in a Buddy Program at TRU, I helped international students with their assignments, work, and other life queries.

I believe that the classroom should be a caring and an encouraging environment where teachers can act as facilitators that direct students to make choices that are in line with their personal interest, and motivate them to have positive personal contact with others. My educational philosophy includes the principles of care, reflective practice, and natural philosophy by way of experiential learning. My concern is more of the emotional and social development of the child, along with cognitive development.
