Experience with professional training and relaying academic guidance to over 1,800 schools for the largest school district in the country (New York City Department of Education). English and reading needs can be tailored into a curriculum based on skill and comprehension level by:
-Identify learning gaps in English and Reading development using reading and writing samples to determine if the skill level is aligned with educational standards set by the state(s)
-Develop curriculum based on current skill levels and areas for growth, creating a timeline for the cycles of learning, practicing, and executing, including presentation. This includes researching tools, modules, and frameworks that support skill development
-Prioritize student voice to get a direct understanding of how they process concepts and ideas, and use this information to make targeted learning goals combined with meeting academic metrics
