About Hadley-James
I have been a teaching assistant at several schools in England and Scotland, and mentored peers and lower years of University students. I have assisted in essay writing, suggesting reading and revision techniques, and reviewing work before deadline submission. I have coached several of my fellow students through their Honours courses, providing reading suggestions, areas of additional research and alternative perspectives with regard to content and structure in essay writing and reports, enabling a number of my peers to improve their final essays to a level of personal satisfaction and happiness.

I am a Final Year Literature student at the University of Edinburgh with a background in Classical and Modern Literature, specialising in contemporary UK based literature studies. I prefer to take a student-led approach to my lessons, establishing in early sessions where the pupil requires the most amount of work to build the strongest foundations for learning. Comprehension is the key to success, so theories and conceptual understanding are the main area I use to assist pupils in understanding how and where to improve at high school and further education level.
