About Eleni
I have 8 years of experience teaching Economics to students preparing for exams, university study, and deeper understanding of global systems. I earned a B.A in International Economics, which provided strong grounding in market behaviour, policy evaluation, and the forces shaping modern economies. This academic foundation allows me to teach economics with both theoretical clarity and real-world relevance.
My teaching style is warm, structured, and focused on helping learners think independently. I enjoy guiding students through economic models step by step, ensuring they understand not just what the graph shows, but why it matters. I encourage students to ask questions openly and develop confidence in both calculation-based and essay-based assessment.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with economics through reading about financial trends, global development challenges, and modern policy debates. Teaching economics is meaningful because students often gain not only academic success, but also a clearer understanding of the world around them. Supporting learners in building confidence and insight is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Economics becomes much more engaging when students realise it is not only about graphs and definitions, but about understanding how the world makes choices. In my lessons, I guide learners through microeconomics and macroeconomics, supply and demand systems, inflation, unemployment, trade, and government intervention with clear explanation and supportive discussion. I focus on connecting economic models to real-life events, so students can see how theory explains everyday decisions and global challenges. Each session builds confidence by breaking complex topics into manageable steps.
Lessons are personalised based on the learner’s level. Beginners focus on basic economic vocabulary, simple diagrams, and foundational reasoning about scarcity and opportunity cost. Intermediate students strengthen elasticity analysis, market structures, fiscal and monetary policy understanding, and exam-style data response questions. Advanced learners refine essay evaluation, deeper policy discussion, international trade analysis, and development economics reasoning. Every lesson includes feedback and structured guidance to help students improve steadily.
Economics lessons help students grow in critical thinking, structured writing, and global awareness. Over time, learners become more confident discussing complex issues with evidence and logic. My goal is to help students succeed academically while also appreciating economics as a powerful tool for understanding society.
