About Emily
My interest in economics began when I started exploring how financial systems influence everyday life. This curiosity led me to complete a Bachelor’s in Economics and later a Master’s in Economics. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students understand economic ideas through structured explanations and practical examples that connect theory with real situations.
I believe economics should be taught in a clear and relatable way. In my lessons, I use graphs, simple case studies, and discussion-based learning to help students understand how markets behave. I encourage learners to ask questions and think critically about economic issues, which helps them develop deeper understanding.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following economic research, global financial trends, and policy discussions. This helps me bring current examples into the classroom and make lessons more engaging. Teaching economics is rewarding because it helps students develop analytical thinking and awareness of how economic systems influence society.

My economics lessons focus on helping students understand how economic ideas influence daily life. Instead of memorizing definitions, students learn how markets function, why prices change, and how people and governments make financial decisions. I explain topics like supply and demand, inflation, and economic growth using simple real-world examples. When students see how these ideas affect businesses, jobs, and global trade, economics becomes easier to understand and more interesting to study.
Each lesson is structured according to the learner’s level. Beginners start with the basic ideas of scarcity, opportunity cost, and market behavior. Intermediate learners study demand and supply curves, market structures, and government policies. Advanced students analyze economic models, interpret graphs, and practice exam-style reasoning. During lessons, I guide students through examples and discussions so they can apply theory to real situations.
Economics becomes meaningful when learners understand how decisions shape economies. My goal is to help students build clear thinking, logical analysis, and confidence in explaining economic ideas. As students practice applying these concepts, they begin to see economics not just as a subject but as a powerful way to understand the world around them.
