About Zoey
My interest in economics began when I started learning about how societies manage limited resources and make decisions about production and distribution. I was particularly fascinated by how economic theories could explain real events such as market changes, employment trends, and global trade patterns. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Economics followed by a Master’s in Economics to deepen my understanding of economic systems.
Over the past 11 years, I have worked with students who want to develop a stronger understanding of both microeconomics and macroeconomics. Through teaching experience I learned that many learners struggle because economic ideas are often presented in an abstract way. Because of this, I focus on explaining concepts through practical examples and real-world situations that make the subject easier to understand.
My teaching approach encourages students to think critically about economic issues and analyze how different policies and decisions affect markets and societies. Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about global economic developments and economic research. These interests allow me to bring current examples and discussions into my lessons.

My economics lessons focus on helping students understand how economic decisions influence individuals, businesses, and societies. Instead of only memorizing theories and definitions, I guide students to explore how economic principles apply to real-life situations such as market behavior, resource allocation, and government policies. Through simple explanations and practical examples, learners develop a clear understanding of how economic systems function and how different factors influence supply, demand, and prices.
Lessons are carefully planned according to the student’s academic level and learning goals. Beginners start with basic concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and the functioning of simple markets. Intermediate learners explore topics like supply and demand analysis, market structures, and national economic indicators. Advanced students study macroeconomic policies, economic models, and analytical approaches that help them understand complex economic situations. Each lesson includes discussion and examples that encourage students to apply theoretical ideas to real economic scenarios.
Economics becomes much more interesting when students realize that the subject explains many aspects of everyday life, including financial decisions, business strategies, and government policies. My goal is to help learners build strong analytical thinking skills and develop the ability to interpret economic events with clarity and confidence.
