About Jasleen
My interest in economics began when I started learning about how financial systems influence everyday life. Understanding how markets function and how economic decisions shape societies inspired me to pursue higher studies in the subject. I completed a Master’s degree in Economics and have spent the past 8 years teaching students from different academic levels.
I believe that economics becomes meaningful when students understand how theories relate to real situations. Many learners struggle when economic ideas are explained only through formulas or graphs without context. My teaching style focuses on explaining concepts through simple examples and structured discussions. This approach helps students gradually build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of economic principles.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about global economic trends, financial markets, and policy changes. Staying informed about current developments helps me bring practical examples into my lessons. Teaching economics allows me to share my enthusiasm for the subject while helping students build analytical thinking skills that are useful both academically and in everyday life.

Economics becomes easier to understand when students learn how economic ideas affect everyday decisions and real-world situations. My lessons focus on explaining key economic principles in a clear and organized way. We begin with foundational topics such as scarcity, opportunity cost, supply and demand, and market behavior. Understanding these ideas helps students see how individuals and businesses make choices about resources and production.
During lessons, I guide students through important areas such as market structures, economic growth, trade, and the role of government in the economy. Each topic is explained step by step so learners can understand the relationships between economic factors. Practice questions and simple case discussions help students apply their knowledge and develop analytical thinking. I encourage students to ask questions and discuss ideas so that economic concepts become clearer through conversation and reasoning.
As students progress, they begin to recognize how economic systems influence employment, business activity, and financial planning. This awareness helps learners connect classroom knowledge with events happening in the wider world. My goal is to help students approach economics with curiosity and confidence rather than confusion. With structured lessons and steady practice, students develop the ability to analyze economic situations and understand how decisions affect societies.
