About Rohan

I hold a Master of Economics degree and have 5 years of experience teaching economics to students with diverse interests and goals. My interest in the subject began with a curiosity about how economies function and why different policies create different outcomes. Over time, this curiosity evolved into a passion for helping others understand economic systems.

My teaching style emphasises clarity, discussion, and practical application. I enjoy helping students connect economic theories with real situations so that learning feels meaningful and relevant. Every learner is encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop their own understanding of economic issues.

Beyond teaching, I enjoy reading economic research, following global market developments, and studying public policy trends. These interests allow me to bring current examples into lessons and help students see the importance of economics in everyday life. Supporting learners as they develop confidence and analytical skills is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

About the lesson

Economics is the study of how people, businesses, and governments make decisions in a world of limited resources. My lessons help students understand economic principles through practical examples and real-world applications. We explore topics such as supply and demand, market structures, inflation, economic growth, international trade, and public policy. By connecting theory to current events and everyday situations, I make economics more relatable and easier to understand.

Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s goals and current level of knowledge. Beginners focus on understanding core concepts and terminology, while advanced learners analyse economic models, interpret data, and evaluate policy decisions. Through discussions, case studies, and structured exercises, students develop stronger analytical and critical-thinking skills.

I believe economics is valuable because it helps learners understand the forces that influence societies and individual choices. My goal is to help students become confident in interpreting economic information, evaluating arguments, and applying economic reasoning to academic and real-world questions.
