About Rhett
My fascination with economics began through interest in global markets, financial systems, and the way economic decisions influence society. This passion inspired me to complete a PhD in Economics and Global Financial Policy, where I explored economic behavior, international trade, and policy analysis in depth. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students through lessons focused on analytical thinking, confidence, and academic improvement.
I believe every learner improves differently, so I adapt my teaching style according to each student’s pace and educational goals. My approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and practical explanation to help students understand economics naturally without unnecessary pressure. Some learners improve through graph interpretation and discussion, while others gain confidence through practical examples and structured exercises. I carefully design lessons to create a motivating and supportive learning experience.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring economic research, financial reports, and global market developments to keep my lessons current and meaningful. Staying connected to economics allows me to bring practical understanding and real-world relevance into every class. My goal is to help students become confident learners who think critically about economic systems and decision making. Supporting their intellectual growth remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My economics lessons focus on helping students understand how economic systems influence businesses, governments, and everyday life through clear and practical explanation. I teach microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, supply and demand, inflation, trade systems, fiscal policy, and economic analysis using supportive and structured methods. Lessons are designed to help students understand economic reasoning naturally instead of memorizing theories without context. I create a calm learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable exploring complex ideas.
Each lesson is personalized according to the learner’s confidence level, academic needs, and learning pace. Beginners receive patient guidance with basic economic concepts and graphical interpretation, while advanced learners strengthen analytical thinking, data interpretation, and policy evaluation. I include discussion activities, application-based questions, graph analysis, and real-world case studies to support balanced understanding. Students preparing for examinations receive focused support for clarity, reasoning, and confidence.
I believe economics becomes more meaningful when students connect theories to current events and practical decision making. My lessons help reduce confusion and replace it with confidence through supportive teaching and consistent practice. Many learners gradually become more analytical and informed in their thinking over time. My goal is to help students develop strong economic understanding while enjoying the learning process.
