About Kiara

Economics fascinates me because it helps us make sense of human behavior and the systems we create. My goal is to make economics feel not only relevant but essential for understanding how the world works. I encourage my students to think critically, ask questions, and challenge assumptions. I believe that economics isn’t just about memorizing theories—it’s about developing the mindset to analyze the world, make informed decisions, and understand the impact of those decisions. By the end of the course, I want students to feel empowered, with a deeper understanding of how economic principles influence their lives, their careers, and the world around them.

About the lesson

Economics is the study of choices, and it’s everywhere—from how we decide to spend our money to the policies that shape entire economies. My goal is to help students see economics not just as a set of graphs and equations but as a lens for understanding the world around us.

Each lesson is designed to explore the key principles of economics—supply and demand, market structures, and the role of government—while connecting these concepts to real-life situations. I encourage students to ask questions about the world they live in and to think critically about economic issues, from global trade to local policy decisions. By the end of the course, they’ll not only understand economic theory but also how it impacts their daily lives.

I focus on interactive learning, using case studies, discussions, and real-world examples to make economic concepts feel relevant and relatable. Whether we’re analyzing consumer behavior or discussing the effects of inflation, I make sure students can apply what they’ve learned to real-world scenarios.
